Daph you suprise me every day with your words and actions. You are smarter then the average bear. 8/15/12 I took you to the doctor because you had been sick. It was your first ear infection, you weighed 27lbs. You are so funny because I had talked to you on the way to the doctor about all the things she would check. When the doctor was finished examinging you, you had her check the things I had told you she would, but she didn't.
We are still working on potty training but getting better every day, you are about 50% potty trained. You are like your dad and burp and fart a lot so we are working on saying excuse me. There is absolutely nothing you can't say. You even clearly say water tower.
You went back to the doctor again this month, they think it was probably your ear again.
You like asking everyone how are you.

My favorite phrase of yours is "don't say that." You being mean but it's cute. The first week of September you can count to 4 and are starting to learn your abc's. Which right now inlcude abc and yz.
Well baby girl September has come and is nearly gone already. You amaze me everyday with how smart you are. You finally named your cats, although I do believe this was in August, I lose track. Anywho the black male cat is Black and the white female is Shane, from your little friend at school. You can count to 5 when you want to and know all of your basic colors, blue, black, orange, red, pink, grey and sometimes brown and yellow. You are getting so close on knowing all of your ABC's I will pause in the middle of singing and you will pick up where I left off.
Gatlee Girl went home this month and you keeping asking where she went. I had my first real scare as a mother this month when you went a field trip with school and the weather was bad. I bawled at the office, I couldn't help it. It was the worse feeling ever, knowing you could be in danger and I was helpless to help you.

Hey smart girl, you are just talking up a storm. I love that at I love that at 19 months we can have full conversations. You are a stubborn girl and are begining to learn to munipulate. You will fake cry when you don't get your way, but you stop it when I get on to you. You also realize that you get sympathy when you tell me something hurts, so everyday something hurts.
Now when you get in the rocker you rock yourself and say, "rock a baby." Because that's what I always tell you. The other day you and I were rocking and you were saying rock a baby, you then got out of the chair and stood beside it rocking it and said, "rock a momma!" It was the cutest thing ever. You woke up this morning 7/18/12 and said, "momma, love you!" It was the first time you told me love you first with out me telling you.
Right now we are working on your colors and numbers 1-5 and potty training. I hope to have all those skills mastered by the time your two!

Wow Daph you are utterly amazing this month and yet I have waited til the last 5 days of this month to start your blog. I know I will be forgetting stuff, and it's not all in order.
You got your fist bike. Daddy left it at the house and for the first few days every time you look at it or think about it you say "Thank you Daddy." I guess I should have started this with how well you are speaking and putting words together!
We are really working hard on potty training and you finally pooped in the potty for the first time, and you read the paper while doing it. You also inform your stuffed animals and kitties to poop in the potty.
We finally got your kitties!!! They still don't have names yet, I want you to name them but the only names you give me are; meow, Fred, Ryan or Shayne.
Your so cute when you say Hea?
You went down the slide by yourself, and also skinned your head on the second time down.
You are not the baby of the family any more. Caylee was born on June 7th.
You absolutely love swimming! Whether it's in a small pool, a regular pool, the muddy tank or the river.
You finally said I love you. Even tho I don't think you fully understand what it means. You told Macy and Mackenzie love you first, then you told me love you.
You are a little mean and hit every chance you get.
You pick your foot up to put it in a shoe rather then pick the shoe up to put on your foot.
You have so many teeth now, I can't count them. I believe you just have two more teeth to come in and then your molars.
You are wearing pull ups now rather then diapers.
You fully understand how to use phones and you hang up on people when you are finished talking.

You fell off the porch for the first time while chasing a hopper, but you did catch the hopper!
New animal sounds are a owl and donkey.

Things you will never use
Found this list of things that will be obsoluete when you are older. Thought it would be cool to see what really is late down the road.
Video tapes, remember those cassettes we once played and replayed or fast forwarded and rewound in video machines, well, children born in this year will never know about it. Children won’t recognise these tapes.
Travel agents, will still be existing, but the Internet will be easily searched for holidays.
Movie rental stores, children will be amazed that you had to go out the hose to get a movie, because you can do it on your sets.
Paper maps, well these were easily found at almost every gas station, GPS has taken over so you won’t find much of maps around.
Wired land lined phones, having to pay for a phone to be plugged into wall sockets will be a silly idea for children born at this time.
Paying for long distance, the Internet has become a most used for communication so long distance calls are cheaper on line.
Newspaper classifieds, the times are a thing of the past when you had to buy newspapers to look at news and bargains.
The evening news with a smart phone in your pocket you are ell informed.
Compact Discs, from records, to cassettes and now compact discs, the Internet is connected all music.
Film cameras, film would mean nothing to children born in 2011 as digital cameras are well taken over film cameras.
Yellow pages and white pages, who would want to use such a heavy book to find someone?
Catalogues, there is no need for receiving books of information in the mail,email is mostly used to see a sale anywhere in the world.
The world of today is about computers and all the new devices presented to us, knowledge is remembered by computers, as we have it all the time. Remember your friend from high school, you don’t need to forget them that fast connect to Facebook and you will find anyone you want to.
Dial up Internet, that is almost gone in most places, speed Internet is now available it won’t be long before Internet goes the way of a plug-in phone.
The time when you bought encyclopedias now you don’t need all those big books.
Fax machines won’t be much in use, pdf, and scan mostly used.
The idea of work and home being separated no, it won’t be, there won’t be a wall between home and office, with an email equipped computer in your pocket you will always be contacted.

We went for your 18 month check up on May 2nd. I didn't realize you had missed your 15 month check up so you had to get four shots to catch up. You also had your blood drawn for normal reasons and to check your iron levels. I truly believe you have Pica because you like to eat sand and dirt and lent and lots of weird stuff. The doctor said it could be an iron deficeny so we are getting it checked. I felt so bad I cried because two nurses and I had to hold you down to draw 3 tubes of blood and it took forever. Your little legs were also very sore from the shots. You weighed 24lbs 6oz and were 31.75ins tall. Your head measured 18cm. around. You are in the the 25 percentile for weight and 50 percentile for heigth. You are still a litte bitty thing and eat lots of snacks and junk.
I took you to feed H the other day and you walked right up to him grabbed his nose and said honk honk. It was the cutest thing ever. You keep talking to me about someone named Mike and someone named Katy. We don't know anyone with those names so I'm not sure who you are talking about. We got you two little kitties this month. They will forever probably just be named kitty.
You pooped in the bath tub for the first and second time!!! The second time you got up on the side of the tub and say yuck. I also made the mistake of letting you go for a minute without your diaper. You came to me with poopy hands and feet saying look yuck. It really grosses me out. Bought your first pack of pull ups. Potty training is underway!
Stop is your new favorite word. You are very jealous of the other baby at daycare. She had drool running down her face one day and you pointed at her and said bubbles. lol You love driving the car when we are on our road. You get so excited when you see the squirel "Nutty."

Oh I'm so behind you have another tooth since last time I updated. I've kinda lost count, you might have two more since last time. You make a few more animal sounds now, you have the horse and dog down. You now know a chicken, tiger and coyote. You love wearing hats and will grab and put one on if you see it lying around. You also love balls and have a new infatuation with bikes. I'm not quite sure where you even learned bike, I don't remember talking to you about it. When you wake up in the morning you hardly ever cry, I just hear you saying, "mom, momma, MOMMA."
You are becoming a little shy for some reason. When people in the grocery store especially guys look at you or talk to you you cover your little face and bend over, kinda hiding from them. You talk to much it is unbelievable.

Today is March 1st we have made it through the winter. I look forward to all the wonderful outside moments we will get to share this month.
This is my favorite month of the year, and from this moment on I vow to be a better mom to you. Being a mom is one of the hardest and most rewarding jobs you will ever have. I second guess my self a lot and wonder how my actions are affecting you, but believe me when I say all I want in this world is to be a good mom to you. To raise you to be an honest, caring, sweet, independent, strong woman.
You know the following animal sounds: Duck, Cow, Cat (BB) - horse and dog most times. And a skunk which includes you holding your nose and saying pew wee.
You are talking in little phrases such as, "want some more," "I don't know." "Shane's sick." It's amazing how much you can speak already. People can't believe you are only 17months when they hear you talk.
You are also very sweet and will blow kisses to everyone. You are finally coming back around and letting people hold you again.

The begining of 15 months sure has had it's obstacles. It's just me and you at the house, daddy now has his own apartment. The begining of this month was the first night that I spent apart from you, because you went to stay the night with daddy. It was such an akward feeling waking up and knowing you weren't there. I couldn't wait for your dad to bring you home.
You can repeat almost everything I say including two syllable words. You have some two syllable words for a long time like Lonnie but now you are really progressing with your speech.

You are still calling for the Christmas tree. "Tree, tree treeeee" Last Sunday I found you behind the couch with a drpepper can you had stole out of the trash. I took it and went to put it back in the trash and found that after taking the can you had replaced it with your two socks. Last Saturday you had your first over night stay with someone other then mommy and daddy. You stayed with Aunt Bonnie and seemed to have a good time. Oh and your favorite word right now is don't.

Divorce
Well Daphne I hope one day you will understand what I'm about to tell you, believe me it is not easy. I want to be honest with you about everything in our lives, hoping you can respect me and share the same honesty with me.
We all make mistakes in life, there will always be decisions you wish you could change, but the truth is you can't go back in time. You must accept the present, let go of the past and look forward to the future.
Dec 10th 2011, was the day things got out of hand. It breaks my heart to know the pain I caused your dad, but it was a mutual pain through out the years. We have decided to divorce, it doesn't mean we don't love each other. Just means we are no longer in love with each other and that things are not going to work out. We both love you more then anything and regardless of our relationship with each other you will always be our priority.
